I was right. I hate it, but I was right. I knew Tennessee would score on defense.
Four interceptions. Yikes. On the bright side, Norm Chow was overheard walking into the locker room saying, "The kid's still the best quarterback I've coached in three years."
My hope for this game was for UCLA to show itself to be a program moving in the right direction. I wanted them to prove themselves as a relevant team. I think, after a half of football, they are proving themselves relevant.
I've seen basketball teams have less possessions than Tennessee has in the first half, and they only have fourteen points. I don't expect the second half to be as close.
Good game. I haven't broken anything. Maybe I'm growing up.
Probably not.
